Ubuntu Budgie is a Ubuntu-family Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. Sleek, modern desktop environment built with GNOME technologies and contemporary flair.
Strengths: Beautiful sidebar with applets (Raven); Clean modern layout without heavy GNOME shell overhead; Great theme customization center. Trade-offs: Smaller desktop developer community compared to KDE/GNOME.
