Bazzite is a Fedora/RHEL-family Linux distribution based on Fedora Silverblue / OSTree. The premier SteamOS alternative for PC and handhelds (ROG Ally, Legion Go) built on Fedora Atomic/OSTree.
Strengths: Best way to turn any desktop or gaming handheld into a Steam Deck experience; Atomic OSTree guarantees updates will never brick your bootloader; Out-of-the-box HDR, VRR, Wayland, and controller remapping. Trade-offs: Traditional software compilation requires containerized toolboxes.
