Batocera.linux is a Independent-family Linux distribution based on Buildroot. Turn any PC, handheld, or Raspberry Pi into a dedicated retro gaming and emulation arcade console.
Strengths: Flash to a USB stick, copy your ROMs, and start playing with full controller support; Supports over 100 classic retro gaming systems out-of-the-box; Includes Kodi media center for movies and streaming. Trade-offs: Strictly an emulation appliance — cannot be used as an ordinary desktop.
