Artix Linux is a Arch-family Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. Arch Linux untethered from systemd — featuring OpenRC, runit, s6, suite66, or dinit.
Strengths: Blazing fast boot and lower background resource overhead; Choose your favorite init system (OpenRC, runit, dinit, s6); Full access to Arch repositories + AUR through Arch-chroot or universe repos. Trade-offs: Some AUR PKGBUILDs assume systemd service files and require Artix init scripts.
