Arch Linux is a Arch-family Linux distribution based on Independent. A lightweight, flexible, bleeding-edge rolling distribution following the 'Keep It Simple' (KISS) principle.
Strengths: Unmatched software selection through the Arch User Repository (AUR); Arch Wiki is the best Linux documentation on Earth; You assemble only the packages you need — zero unwanted bloat. Trade-offs: Manual CLI installation requires understanding Linux subsystems; Rolling updates can occasionally need manual intervention (archlinux.org news).
